Solicitation Information

All potential offerors, plan rooms and printing companies must register in the System for Award Management - Entity Managment (SAM) and Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps or FBO) sites in order to view or download solicitations from FedBizOpps. Solicitations will be listed on FedBizOpps with links to the solicitation documents and other technical data.

Upcoming Projects (including Presolictation Notices, Solicitation Notices, Modification Notices, Tech Data Packages, etc.)

  • FedBizOpps has listings of projects which are going to be advertised -- go here for the latest listings.  You can put "Engineer District, Seattle " in the "Keywords/SOL #:" box to get to Seattle District listings only.  Putting "W912DW" in the QuickSearch box also seems to provide a listing of open actions. The main FedBizOpps page has direct buttons to search for Recovery Opportunities as well as Recovery Awards.   Recovery Actions have a "RECOVERY" icon posted next to the notice title within the "Opportunities List" tab, as well as under the notice title found in the heading of a notice within the "Notice Details" tab.

Downloading a solicitation at FedBizOpps does not automatically get you notifications of updates for public solicitations.

  • To get automatic notifications of updates to this solicitation, you MUST be logged in and click the "Add to Watchlist" button in the listing for this solicitation on FedBizOpps.
  • If you want to list your firm so others can see you are an interested vendor, you must click the "Add me to Interested Vendors List" button in the listing for this solicitation on FedBizOpps and fill in your information; you can show Prime/Sub/Supplier in one of the address or Point of Contact (POC) lines. You can register for as many solicitations as you wish. If you want both notifications and being listed as an interested vendor, you must do both.
  • Create an "Advanced Search" to find the opportunities you want to see frequently, then save the search as a "Search Agent" and schedule it to run automatically. You can have several of these searches run for different job types, locations, etc. See the FBO Vendor User Guide section on the right side of page for details.

Bid Abstracts
Bid Abstracts for Invitations for Bids (IFBs) are posted to FedBizOpps for 60 days after the bid is publicly opened and can be found with the IFB's posting on FedBizOpps

Award Notices
FedBizOpps has listings of the latest awards.  You can put "Engineer District, Seattle " in the "Keywords/SOL #:" box to get to Seattle District listings only, then click on the "Type" header for Awards to show on top.  Notices are shown for 30 days after posting, then archived. There are also search capabilities from the "Advanced Search" link (you can find all award notices by clicking the "both" button for seaching search active/archived/both records).

Award Reports
The Federal Procurement Data System provides access to the public for seeing what the government purchased, both contract awards and modifications to those contracts.  Registration is free. Data for DoD agencies, including this office, is not visible for 90 days after the date of the award or contract action.
