Corps reaches milestones on Elliott Bay Seawall project

This week the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers made progress on two separate action paths for the City of Seattle’s Elliott Bay Seawall project. First, a Feasibility Scoping Meeting, or FSM, was completed on May 7 by the Corps’ Seattle District Civil Works Branch for the General Investigation study. Second, the District’s Regulatory Branch made a preliminary decision to move forward with an Environmental Assessment on the city’s effort to self-perform a fast-tracked project. [Read More]
