International Kootenay Lake Board of Control holding virtual public meeting

The International Kootenay Lake Board of Control will hold a virtual public meeting at 6 p.m. PDT October 6. 

The public will be presented information on the International Joint Commission, the Kootenay Board, and the operation of Corra Linn Dam by Fortis BC under the 1938 Order on Kootenay Lake. The Board will take comments from the public regarding their concerns and suggestions on the Board’s activities.

The location of the annual meeting normally alternates between Nelson, British Columbia, and Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Due to COVID-19, this year’s meeting is being held remotely.

The International Kootenay Lake Board of Control chairs are David Hutchinson for the Canadian Section and Col. Alexander Bullock for the United States Section.
