Public Invited to Attend International Kootenay Lake Board of Control Meeting in Nelson, B.C

Interested members of the public are encouraged to attend the annual meeting of the International Kootenay Lake Board of Control Tuesday, September 19, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. (PDT) in Nelson, British Columbia. This meeting is regarding the regulation of Kootenay Lake and the operation of Corra Linn Dam under the International Joint Commission’s Orders of Approval.

International Kootenay Lake Board of Control holding virtual public meeting

The International Kootenay Lake Board of Control will hold a virtual public meeting at 6 p.m. PDT October 6. The public will be presented information on the International Joint Commission, the Kootenay Board, and the operation of Corra Linn Dam by Fortis BC under the 1938 Order on Kootenay Lake. The Board will take comments from the public regarding their concerns and suggestions on the Board’s activities.
