In anticipation of its return, engineers from Seattle and Walla Walla Districts, the Inland Navigation Design Center Mandatory Center of Expertise (INDC) and AFD Operations staff completed a Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Installation certification course, April 8-10, 2025, to learn how to apply FRP to repair fatigue-induced cracks on steel structures and get it ready for service in August 2025.
