Published Dec. 29, 2016
The large lock will close to all marine traffic for pump plant-related work from 8 a.m. to noon January 17.

The small lock will still be available for vessels less than 120 feet in length and 26 feet in width during this period.

The scheduled work is related to the pump plant replacement project. The pumps are used to dewater the locks for maintenance.

Questions may be directed to Lockmasters Larry Meyer or Vickie Shepard, at 206-789-2622 ext. 230, or Public Affairs Officer Bill Dowell, at 206-764-3464.
