Corps of Engineers assisting with levee work in Snohomish County

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, Reservoir Control Center is operating local dams around the clock for flood risk reduction and the Emergency Operations Center is responding to a request for flood fight assistance in Snohomish County. The Snohomish flood team deployed to assist the French Slough Diking District to shore up the vulnerable back slope of a levee along the Snohomish River near the town of Snohomish.
