International Kootenay Lake Board of Control to hold public meeting October 19

SEATTLE – The International Kootenay Lake Board of Control will hold a public meeting October 19 in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. 

The public will be presented information on the International Joint Commission, the Kootenay Board, and the operation of Corra Linn Dam by Fortis BC under the 1938 Order on Kootenay Lake. The Board will take comments from the public regarding their concerns and suggestions on the Board’s activities.

The meeting will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, October 19, at the Prestige Lakeside Resort, 701 Lakeside Drive, Nelson, British Columbia, Canada.  The location of the annual meeting alternates between Nelson, British Columbia, and Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
