Chittenden Locks large chamber resumes full operations

The Hiram M. Chittenden locks large chamber resumed full operations 4:30 p.m. December 23.

The maintenance crew resolved a limit switch issue that affected all the miter gates and cleared debris from under a miter gate.

The small chamber is scheduled to close January 6-24 for annual maintenance. The large chamber is scheduled to close February 12-April 5 for the second extended closure for the Stoney Gate Valve project.
