A Hood Canal waterfront property owner pleaded guilty in July in U.S. District Court in Tacoma to the federal felony offense of making a false statement to a federal official in connection with his unlawful construction of a beachfront bulkhead. JON KOLOSKI, 74, of Potlach in Mason County, constructed the bulkhead in September 2011, without the appropriate permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
