Environmental review starts for Chehalis River proposal

Public comments sought in first step of environmental assessment process To reduce flood risks in the state’s second-largest river system, the Chehalis River Basin Flood Control Zone District is proposing to construct a new floodwater retention structure on the Chehalis River near the town of Pe Ell in Lewis County.

Army Corps Northwest Washington permitting office relocating December 15

The Northwest Washington permitting office for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Regulatory Branch begins relocating to a new site on December 15. The office will be open in its new location 1001 Larrabee Avenue, Suite 101, Bellingham, Washington, 98225 by December 22, 2017.
