Chittenden Locks small chamber to close about 10 hours Jan. 30

The small lock at the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks in Ballard will close to all marine traffic from about 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Jan. 30 for test drilling.

Army Corps of Engineers repairing Lightning Creek Levee in Clark Fork, Idaho

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be conducting repairs on a section of the Lightning Creek Levee in Clark Fork, Idaho, beginning January 17, 2017. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officials will restore two sections of the levee that were damaged during flood events in December, 2015. The damaged sites are adjacent to the repairs constructed in 2008.
